Description: Hardwood Slappers - One of the most versatile tools in metal shaping, these slappers are beautifully crafted in the USA from the finest select grade maple and finished with a protective oil to resist staining and moisture penetration. Primarily a roughing tool and used in conjunction with a shot bag, panels can be crown shaped by naturally stretching the metal without leaving surface marring that a hammer or similar facetool would.
More curve to a slapper face will permit more three dimensional or complex forms to the panel.
